Its a dream and will always be…am Marvin Anthony from Mauritius…even if am pretty good as a football player, my main desire is to coach a team….as Arsenal is said to have a squad and managing problems I am gonna share with you Arsenal fanatics, how i will manage my favorite football club..
I am gonna be realistic as much as possible…the board will give me 70 millions and i will demand an extra 30 millions from the Emirates chequebook (or start betting at an online casino!) in order to re build my squad…
i will sell Arshavin, Djourou, Santos, Fabianski, Bendtner, Park and Chamakh for sure….and make a cash flow in of about 22 millions…total 122 millions…(you will say, its playstation fantasy)
In my squad, i need a good leader as a goalkeeper…even if Vorm, Mignolet, Krul will be on my radar, I am gonna bid for Begovic (Manonne + 5 millions)…..I still have hope that Koscielny and Vermaelen are gonna be good if well motivated…but Mertesacker is not the type of defender which can assure you…I need someone who is a rock…only the sight of him makes strikers worried…the likes of Kompany, Ferdinand, Terry and Thiago Silva… my bid will go to a simple player who will be world class in years to come…Ryan Shawcross (Squillaci + 12 millions)
Currently in our midfield….our class DM is Coquelin….CM Arteta, Wilshere, Diaby and Ramsey….AM Cazorla and Rosicky….RM Walcott….LM Gervinho, Chamberlain and Podolski….
Coquelin is an up coming player like the type of Flamini and Song…but am gonna bid for a splendid DM that everybody wish for…Victor Wanyama (22 millions)…that guy is the engine of my team…you gonna be sure he will cut opponents passes and bring the extra player we need during tough match where scoring will be vital…he is an Essien type and a perfect mentor for Coquelin, Yennaris and Frimpong…..
As you may have noticed, apart from three wingers of which only Walcott is world class…am gonna bid for a flyer who can connect with our LB or RB to our strategy up front…..Ardan Turan (Rosicky + 12 millions). I would have put Gervinho in the transfer to lessen our cash expenditure…but A. Madrid am sure will not want him…anyway, Ardan Turan is for me a suitable player with great vision who can play in every post of our midfield…he is a type of Rosicky but is a younger version and very strong….
I would also bid a player who i follow his performances every match he played…Kevin Strootman (Diaby + 13 millions)… he is a box to box player with tactical flair and better than the recent midfielders Netherlands have got… he will also help in changing tactical position during matches…
Finally to complete my summer transfers….a striker…a class one…i have 58 millions left in bank…even if am a fan of Cavani…am gonna surprise everybody and make an special 30 millions + Arteta bid for….Luis Suarez…. Why Arteta? Because i have bought better midfielders and he is becoming old….why Suarez? Because he is a match winner…he has the skills, techniques, speed and he is a bold guy…never give up……(the rest of the money will be used to increased the fringe benefits and wages of players to keep them happy.)
So my starting team will be, Begovic ____ Sagna, Shawcross, Vermaelen, Monreal_______Strootman, Wanyama_________Walcott, Wilshere, Turan_______Suarez
Vermaelen will stay captain so as not to break the team spirit….. Strootman when need will push forward to cover Walcott who gonna support Suarez in front…i will stick to the philosophy of quick and team passing…but with more long shots…support from the LB and RB will be less demanding because our midfielders are dynamo players….
My subs will contain Szczesny, Koscielny, Cazorla, Chamberlain, Podolski and Giroud…..
